My passion for beauty began long before DKMA Fragrances. For ten years, I worked as a cosmetologist, building a career across several areas of the professional beauty industry. My experience took me from working behind the chair to supporting one of the country’s largest salon-supply distribution companies, where I also had the opportunity to educate others on professional products, their ingredients, and the chemistry behind their performance.

 

My introduction to fragrance blending came unexpectedly. One holiday season, I decided to create personalized fragrances as gifts for friends and family. What began on a whim quickly became something far more meaningful. I was captivated by the way individual notes could be layered to evoke a memory, capture a personality, or create an atmosphere entirely their own.

 

Over the next several years, I pursued the craft zealously as a hobbyist; studying, experimenting, refining, and developing a deeper understanding of fragrance composition. With careful consideration and the unwavering love and encouragement of friends and family, I ultimately decided to take the next step and introduce DKMA Fragrances.

 

DKMA Fragrances is the expression of a passion that grew slowly, personally, and with intention. I am beyond excited to share that passion with you; and to create fragrances that feel just as thoughtful, expressive, and individual as the people who wear them.
